Bubble Mug Cosy

This bubble mug cosy is good to keep your coffee or tea warm! Made with a hole for the handle and a little dip so there's rooms for your mouth!

Materials:

Yarn: Medium weighted yarn, ~25g

Hook: 4.0mm

Needle

Abbreviations (US Terms):

ch = chain

st = stitch

sc = single crochet

dc = double crochet

sl st = slip stitch

sk = skip

bb = bubble st, *yarn over, insert hook, pull up a loop* 3 times, yarn over and pull through all 7 loops.

Notes:

- The turning chain does not count as a at throughout the pattern

The Pattern:

50, sl st into first ch. Or the length needed to fit around the circumference of your mug

Row 1: ch 1, sc into each ch across, sl st into first stitch.

Row 2: ch 2, bb into first stitch, *ch 1, sk 1, bb*, repeat between * until end of row, dc in last st. Turn. (DO NOT SL ST, we are now creating a hole for the mug handle). If you have more space between the bottom of your mug and handle keep 'sl st'-ing until you reach the handle.

Row 3: ch 1, sc into each stitch across. Turn.

Row 4-11: Repeat rows 2-3

Row 12: ch 2, bb into first stitch, *ch1, sk 1, bb*, repeat between *16 times, sc into next, sl st into next 10 st, sc, *bb, ch 1, sk 1* twice, bb, sl st into start of row. Tie off

Edging

In the gap we left for the handle, attach yarn and sc around the gap, sl st into first sc and tie off
